Supporting Local Community Initiatives

We support local community initiatives, including fundraising activities for local charities, with a retail value of €100,000. This includes brand sponsorship with local sporting clubs, complimentary room hire for community events, and donations of overnight stays, afternoon teas, dinners, and lunches.

Committing to Sustainability

We are committed to a sustainable future through our "50 Steps to Sustainability" initiative. This year, we are investing €150,000 in sustainable projects such as solar panels, heat pumps, air-to-water technologies, and EV charging points.

Tax Contribution

During your stay, you pay tax on our products, which is included in the total price. This includes 23% VAT on drinks and 13.5% VAT on food and accommodation. This year, our hotel will contribute €573,000 in VAT to the Government of Ireland. Lower VAT rates could mean lower prices for you and potentially lower price increases in the future, stimulating demand and supporting many of the initiatives outlined above.
