Our dedicated Wedding Coordinator, Laura, has built a stellar reputation with our couples for her personable approach and clear, consistent communication. Rather than a corporate "one-size-fits-all" service, Laura provides a steady hand and a personal touch, ensuring every detail of your vision is captured with care and professionalism.

Next steps to begin planning your wedding:

Step 1: Your Personal Viewing & Enquiry

Once you have made an initial enquiry, we invite you for a private tour of our Gold Medal-winning estate. We will discuss your preferred dates, guest numbers, and ceremony style, ensuring we are the right fit for your vision.

Step 2: Securing Your Exclusive Date

As a one-wedding-per-day venue, we recommend securing your date early to ensure total exclusivity. Upon booking, you will receive our comprehensive planning pack and a list of our most trusted local wedding suppliers.

Step 3: The Menu Tasting & Detail Finalisation

Roughly six months before your wedding, you will attend a wedding tasting to experience our award-winning cuisine. Here, we finalise your floor plans for the Magner Suite and discuss the flow of your drinks reception in the John Peter’s Suite.

Step 4: The Morning Of

The celebration begins in our newly built Wedding Prep Room. This dedicated, light-filled sanctuary allows the bridal party to prepare together in a relaxed environment. With a double bed for overnight flexibility and ample space for hair and makeup, it ensures a tranquil start to your wedding day.

Step 5: Your "I Do" & Beyond

From your Civil Ceremony to the final dance, our team manages every operational detail, allowing you to focus entirely on your guests and your celebration.

The Irish Wedding Planning Checklist

While we take care of every detail within the hotel, there are several key milestones you will need to organise. Use this timeline to ensure your journey to the altar is as seamless as possible.

12–18 Months Remaining

• Set the Date: Confirm your preferred date with us to ensure one-wedding-per-day exclusivity.
• The Legalities: In Ireland, you must give at least three months' notice to the Registrar (HSE). We recommend booking your appointment as early as possible.
• Choose Your Ceremony: Decide between a Civil Ceremony at the hotel, a religious ceremony, or a humanist celebration.

9–12 Months Remaining

• Book Key Suppliers: Secure your photographer, videographer, and entertainment. Explore our Recommended Supplier List for professionals who know our grounds and lighting best.
• The Guest List: Draft your initial list to ensure it aligns with our Magner Suite capacities.
• Attire: Begin the search for your wedding dress or suits.

6 Months Remaining

• The Tasting: Book your Wedding Tasting with Laura to finalise your bespoke menu.
• Invitations: Send out your 'Save the Dates' or formal invitations, including accommodation details for guests.
• Transport: Organise wedding cars or guest transport if the ceremony is off-site.

3 Months Remaining

• Marriage Notification: Ensure your HSE notification is complete and you have your Marriage Registration Form (MRF).
• Finalise the Details: Meet with Laura to discuss floor plans, decor, and the flow of your Drinks Reception.
• Honeymoon: Finalise your travel arrangements.

4–6 Weeks Remaining

• Table Plan: Submit your final seating arrangement and guest numbers.
• The Prep Room: Confirm your arrival time for the Wedding Prep Room to ensure a relaxed start for the bridal party.
• Final Review: A last walkthrough of the timeline with the Vienna Woods team.
