Meet The Team!
Here at Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel, we take great pride in our staff. Without our staff, we wouldn’t be where we are today. With that being said, let me introduce you to some of the team!
John –
John is our Deputy General Manager here at the Hotel. This means he is in charge of the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the hotel. He has worked in the hotel for 7 years in total (John moved to the UK for some time). John's favourite thing about working in Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel is without a doubt the interaction and friendship with our long-standing customer base and team members as well as suppliers. John’s passion is Liverpool Football Club, going to their soccer matches and watching them win the league last year was a highlight!!
Suzanne –
Suzanne is our Front Office & Reservations Manager here at the hotel. She is the voice behind the phone that looks after you from the beginning of your journey when booking your stay. Suzanne has worked in Vienna Woods for the past 6 years. Her journey began when she moved to Cork from Limerick and began in the hotel as a Food & Beverage assistant where she learned a lot of how the hotel industry worked. She enjoyed her time so much that when the opportunity was there to join the reservations team, she jumped at it! She worked her way up and is now the head of Front Office & Reservations here at Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel.
Amy –
Amy a Passage West native is our Food & Beverage Manager and has worked on the team since December 2020. She has worked in the hotel industry for the last 5 years. Her favourite thing about working in Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel is the team. She says that “everyone is amazing”. Amy takes care of any of our guest’s food and beverage needs. Amy ensures the smooth running of all food and beverage departments. She is responsible for the training of staff to the hotels operating standards and ensuring guests have a great experience when staying or visiting the hotel in any of the above departments.
Susan –
Susan is one of the smiling faces you see when checking into the hotel. She is from Ovens and has been working in Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel for the last 11 years and is a valued member of staff here at the hotel. Susan’s favourite thing about working here is the friendships she has made over the years. Her job entails checking in and out guests out of the hotel, answering calls and giving out information, and helping guests and residents as best she can!
