About Pride Month:
Every year, the LGBTQ+ community and supporters commemorate the 1968 Stonewall Riots and the progress made — and remains to be made — for LGBTQ+ people around the world.
Pride Month is considered to be an important holiday, one that details the history of the LGBT community finding acceptance in the world. While it’s more widely accepted today than ever before, history is able to tell long stories of why this was not the case for a very long time. Pride Month is a time for each individual to be proud of who they are and the unique offerings they have to bring to the world.
Cork Pride Festival 2022
The Cork Pride is taking Place on the 23rd of July until the 31st of July!
The Theme of the festival this year is 'Proud to be'
There will be a series of events for everyone on during the week to celebrate and support LGBT+ pride.
