The Queenstown Story Exhibition is Back Open at the Cobh Heritage Centre!
As the majority of Covid Restrictions have been lifted, we are delighted to hear that many of Cork's beloved attractions are able to open back up for visitors.
One of these lovely attractions is the 'Queenstown Story' Exhibition at the Cobh Heritage Centre.
About the Queenstown Story Exhibition:
The Queenstown Story exhibition tells the story of Irish emigration from a port where over 3 million left in search of a new life.
Everything from the sinking of the Titanic and the Lusitania and the Great Famine to the transportation of the forgotten Irish who endured forced labour in Cromwellian times is inventively displayed in a variety of modern, tasteful, and artistic ways.
It includes many historic and emotive stories of those who departed, and the Exhibition is inventively situated within Cobh’s restored Victorian railway station, a building with its own historic story.
We are delighted to announce that upon their reopening, the Queenstown story exhibition at the Cobh Heritage Centre are giving our lucky guests 20% off their visit upon the production of their hotel key card.
Check out their website here, for their contact details to avail of your 20% off discount with them when staying with us!
