Now to kick off your 48 hours in Cork!
First up, why don't you head off down to Cobh just a 20 minute drive from the hotel, you don't have far to travel really!! Cobh is a beautiful little town with stunning sea views. While down in Cobh you could go and enjoy the real Titanic Experience. Did you know Cobh was the Titanic's last stop before it took off across the Atlantic Ocean? This is definitely a town you have to see while staying in Cork.
Another town that you could go and visit that is just a 34 minute drive from the hotel is Kinsale! Situated on the south cost of Cork this lovely town is full of character and provides loads of different streets for exploring. You can even enjoy your time there by strolling along side the water front looking out at the many boats docked up at the pier. You could spend hours here just walking around to see what Kinsale has to offer! While in Kinsale why not go and visit the historical Charles Fort that was built in 1670, and learn all about it's history.
This time we are recommending something a little closer to hotel, just incase you don't want to travel too far! The City Center!! There is so much you can do in the city, it is packed with activities for you to enjoy. From tasty food to day time walks, the city has everything you could think of. You could spend a few hours shopping on Patrick's Street and the other little streets around it, who knows what you might find tucked away in the corner!! Once you are finished with your shopping you could grab a bite to eat from The English Market and eat it at Bishop Lucey Park located in the city. Then to finish off the evening after a lovely day go for a stroll around the city.
